Literacy
Weekly literacy teaching at KPS involves:
- Reading - 5 x 1 hour sessions per week
- Writing/Spelling - 5 x 1 hour sessions per week (at least one hour per week to have a grammar focus)
- Speaking & Listening - at least 1 hour per week and integrated into all literacy lessons
