Hours
The school canteen operates from Monday to
Friday.
It is staffed by
a paid manager, assistant manager and volunteer
parents and is administered by the School
Council Resources Committee. The objective of
the canteen is to provide a source of low cost,
nutritious lunches for the children of the
school. A list of available foods and current
prices is distributed via the Newsletter on a
regular basis. Profits raised through the
canteen operations are used by the School
Council to purchase additional resources for the
school.

Menu /Ordering
Orders for the canteen are to be written
clearly on a clean paper bag, showing the price
of each article and the total cost.
The child's name, grade and room number is
clearly written at the bottom of the bag eg.
Peter Jones, Room 16, Grade 3/4C.
The correct money (if possible) is wrapped in
paper or foil and secured to the order bag, then
the bag is folded up.
Orders should be placed in the class lunch box
by 9.00am.
Parent assistance
Volunteers are needed each year to assist in the
canteen if the canteen is to remain a
daily
lunch providing service.
This canteen has been inspected and approved on
a regular basis by the City of Whitehorse. Our
Canteen is appropriately registered as an E
class premises.
